GBS Meningitis at 7 Months   — anonymous

When my daughter developed GBS bacterial meningitis at the age of 7 months, they told me she probably wouldn't make it. She had a 2 1/2 hour seizure (grand mal), but came out of it fine. Then they told me that she had significant brain damage and may never walk or talk. They couldn't say. Well, with a lot of prayers and the wonderful grace of God she's right here with me and, after 5 weeks in the hospital and a lot of medicine, she is perfectly healthy. It's like she was never even sick. So to everyone out there who is going through this, just have faith that it will all work out for God's glory!
