Jaxton's Story   — Jaxton Worthy, UT, USA

My little boy Jaxton was diagnosed with GBS 4 hours after he was born. It was a very severe infection that got into his blood stream. He fought valiantly for 5 long days but soon passed away from his heart giving out. I love him so much and miss him so much. I am angry that he is not here just because we didn't get an antibiotic during labor. Everyone was unaware that my wife had it because she had tested negative for it a few weeks prior. I will never forget this disease and I want to do all I can to prevent other children from getting it. My son was so beautiful. We were so lucky that we got to spend the little time that we did with him. I will always remeber him and I will strive to make ever mother and father aware of this disease to honor my little boy's death.
