I complained of kidney area pain for about a month to my Dr. He said it was sciatica. I finally insisted on a test for a bladder infection. It was ragingly positive. Two days after I was on the antibiotic my baby girl died. I know exactly when it was. I felt the sharp pain while I slept. She was 2lbs 2oz and 14 inches long. As beautiful as a sleeping angel. Perfect. When the results from her autopsy and tests on the placenta came back, the placenta was highly colonized with Group B Strep. My baby suffocated. I pray for more Group B awareness.....these babies do NOT have to die.
