Dustee's Story   — Dustee Recker, OK, USA

Dustee was born on November 23, 2009 at 3:11 p.m. They took her from me at 8 pm to give her a bath and they told me her temp was down so they were going to keep her in the nursery. At 5 am they woke me to tell me they were transporting her to Baptist Medical Center. At 6 pm on Tuesday the 24th my daughter was given a 1% chance to live and they needed to transport her to Children's Hospital. She made the transport and no one thought she would. Now seven days later she is being taken off the ECMO machine and looks to be doing well. ECMO saved her life.
