Bradley's Story   — tanya priest, new south wales, australia

I tested positive for GBS during my pregnancy with my son who is 2 years old now. My son did not breath for 10 minutes when he was born. He was taken to the special care nursery. Tests and more tests were taken to find out what went wrong considering I had the perfect pregnancy. The results from the MRI show there were 75 white blood cells so he was put on antitbiotics for 14 days. On day 15 he came home... My concern with Bradley was that he hated being on his belly, everytime he would scream so I just never gave him tummy time. He sat on his own at the age of 9 months but never crawled. He gets around by moving on his bum. He still is not walking at 26 months which is why I'm so concerned! He wants to walk. You hold his hands and he just wants to take off. He is very smart , but just doesn't seem to have any balance. I just recently had another MRI done, but test results came back clear with no signs of any brain damage. I really don't know what to do anymore. It makes me sad! We have been taken him to see a chriopractor and PT once a week for the past 10 weeks but I really don't see much change.
