Brittni's story   — Karen Prescott, AL, USA

My daughter Brittni was diagnosed with having GBS at 3 months of age. She had strokes and seizures and we thought she was not going to make it. I was told I did not have it at her and her twin brother Brandon's births. However, she did have it and we almost lost her. Now she is almost 16 years old and has some speech problems and is not on schedule for her age as far as school goes, but she is our miracle baby. Currently though she has had a lot of stomach issues which has brought me back to studying the GBS topic and I found this site and wanted to share a little about Brittni and her story.
