My son Moises passed away at 19 months of age of group B Streptococcus. He was a healthy baby and that morning had a low fever and I treated it like any other fever by giving him tylenol. About 1/2 an hour later he was ready for a nap so I put him to sleep and put him in his crib. About 1 1/2 hours later I went to check on him and he was blue and not breathing and had no heart beat. We performed CPR and he was later pronounced dead at the ER. The Coroner told us that he passed away from Streptococcus I never knew that this could happen to a baby my son's age, and with no real signs that he was sick. It all happened in a matter of 2 hours.
